The requirements for membership are one year or more of British or Commonwealth education. The British Schools and Universities Club has members today that are not only from Great Britain and the United States but from a number of Commonwealth countries including Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Guyana, India, Malaya, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.
